Im thinking of tidying up a bit and may convert the chapterised mp3s into single files to reduce the number of files I have to deal with. Previously ive tended to splice them into a single mp3 file using makeitone. The problem is this loses the chapter info. As more players now seem to support m4b im now thinking of converting the mp3 to m4b.
Just a thought but you can embed a still image into any mp3, without converting it to a video file. ( instructions ) From there, if you upload to e.g. youtube, I think it will preserve the embedded image and so you'll get a music 'video' with a still image in the background.

If there a bunch of .mp3 files, I add them together to make 1 big .mp3 for audacity to clean up by using step 3, but typing the command "copy /b *.mp3 book.mp3". this creates one large mp3 file called book.mp3. If unable save in .m4b format, I rip to mp3, then use dbpoweramp to convert to m4a (#1 above) yIzm.
