As for vysnc my guess is 1 means ON but double buffering and 2 is with triple buffering. You want vsync with triple buffering. If you have Nvidia then HBAO (horizon based ambient occlusion) is what you want. If you have AMD then it is HDAO (high definition ambient occlusion) since they were created for each card respectively.

So I've tried now for like the past two hours to get Blood Dragon to work and I have not been able to, I've verified the integrity of the game cache at least three times now and every time it finds at least 50 files and downloads them and then after downloading them the game still does not load. I've reinstalled it twice and done just about everything that I have been able to find online, but
