When should I do each piece of dlc? ParanoidObsessive 9 years ago #2 When it comes to purely narrative, I like to play Mark of the Assassin at the very beginning of Act 3, then sort of pretend that it happened in the 3-year gap between Act 2 and Act 3. Well the chronological order story wise is: Leliana's Song, Origins itself (where you can do Stone Prisoner, Return to Ostagar and Warden's Keep at any point during the game and in any order you like), Awakening, Golems of Amgarrak, then finally Witch Hunt. Darkspawn Chronicles is an "Alternate universe" type AFAIK, the order is; Leliana’s song>DAO>Awakening>GoA>WH. Darkspawn Chronicles is a separate, alternate timeline DLC. As for the others though (Warden’s Keep, Return to Ostagar…), dunno, I tend to beat them whenever I’m halfway through the game, so I dunno. 4. PabloOnThePistol. You can't upload your DAO character to the Dragon Age Keep because of the console server issue(PC players don't have this issue by the way) but you can take your DAO console save directly to Dragon Age 2(Console). Also you CAN connect to the DA servers on DA2. Not sure why Origins is the only one with the issue.
The two main DLC packs are 'Legacy' and 'Mark of the Assassin.'. Legacy harkens back to Origins, with a darkspawn threat looming in the Deep Roads. It's got some good lore, and a pretty intense boss fight. Mark of the Assassin is, IMO, a must-have purchase if you enjoy the rest of the game.
Dragon Age II: The Complete Official Guide is the official strategy guide for Dragon Age II. It is authored by Piggyback Interactive and published by Prima Games. It was released on March 8, 2011. The guide's content includes: The 100% complete guide to Dragon Age II. Carefully designed to avoid unnecessary story spoilers. A world map shows the position of all areas visited with an index of Golems of Amgarrak can take place at any point after DA:O. Dragon Age Awakening begins 6 months after DA:O. Witch Hunt takes place 1 year after DA:O. Both of the DA2 DLCs can be played at any point during the campaign after the prologue, and Hawke's current social position/reputation is integrated into the dialog and scenarios for those missions. But Descent does have real, short-term implications for the Inquisition, so it's a sidequest which makes sense to do before the final boss. Works just as well in post-game, however. Trespasser last, of course. Everything that blooms will one day wither - Orochimaru. NxEYQL.
